Love Our School Days - Willow Canyon Update

Good Morning Wonderful Volunteers! Tomorrow is the big day! Thank you again for your willingness to show our local schools they have the support of their surrounding communities! This is a great opportunity for us all to start building some relationships with our schools. We'll be meeting tomorrow morning at Willow Canyon High School at 8:00am. Please use the front (north) entrance off of Surprise Farms Loop North. We'll gather under the ramadas near the big gates. We'll sign in and break in to work teams from there.

The school has made a number of changes to the projects they'd like us to tackle. The DECA store has already been cataloged and organized and the garden project has been put on hold as there isn't currently anyone at the school with a desire to maintain it once it's replanted.

There are still lots of opportunities for us to love on Willow Canyon and to meet the needs they do have. Please bring a willing heart; a servant's attitude and a flexible mindset as many of us may be working on projects other than what we'd signed up for. You may also want to bring a pair of gloves and wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Lastly, we'll be splitting into teams all around the school's campus- if you'd be willing to take on a team lead role to help keep our work focused and organized, please reach out to me at the email or phone number below.

Thank you again for being a part of this- See you in the morning!

Love Our School Days - Willow Canyon Update

Hi Everyone!

Love Our School Day is just around the corner! (Only 3 days away!) We're looking forward to this opportunity to serve the staff at Willow Canyon and all the Surprise area schools. Thank you for your willingness to jump in and serve! The plan is to meet at the school by 8:00am and work until there is no more to do, or 11:30...whichever comes first. We may not accomplish everything on Willow's to do list, but let's make sure that we walk away having spent some time pouring in to the however many admin staff and teachers we'll be working alongside!  I'll reach out again tomorrow evening or early Friday with some more specific info on where to meet at the school. Happy Wednesday!
