About this project

WHAT: Outside landscaping and cleaning.  Various tasks could include raking, weed pulling, trash removal, sweeping and washing down playground equipment at our kindergarten and 1-6 playground areas.  This may (pending approval) also include painting four square and hopscotch.

WHEN: October 8th, 2016 8am-11:30am

WHY: Maintaining a school campus is a huge task so when we support the school’s maintenance staff it gives them time to focus on needed school projects and provides students with a great learning environment! 

WHO: 20 volunteers…Kids welcome, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

PLEASE BRING: a pair of garden and/or work gloves.  Project leader will provide updates as we get closer to the project date regarding supplies.

Project Updates

This Saturday- 10/8

This upcoming weekend, 10/8- Please plan to be at the school at 8 am. Once you are parked, please enter the school near the West Gates- there should be signage. We will gather as a group in the covered area in the middle of the school. I met with the school today and walked around to look at the upcoming projects. If you have the supplies listed below, please bring them on Saturday as they will be needed to clean the playground.

  • Leaf Blower

  • Old Rags for cleaning

Good Afternoon, I wanted to let you know that I will be contacting the group on 10/4, to give you finalized details on the project. The school is very excited that we will be there on Love our Schools Day and I look forward to meeting you all on 10/8.
